getting rid of the chemicals by washing and then wouldn't starching the fabric make it easier to cut. and to stop the stretching. Just a thought
Might work.....just remember...yards and yards and yards and yards...to wash, dry, starch and iron.
Your repeats might not be exact, but if you are sensitive to the chemicals, you could try it. If you use a smaller repeat and cut the triangles smaller, you don't need as much fabric. That way if it doesn't work right, you haven't invested as much money.

When making an OBW, ist hat the only time you do not wash the material. I always wash my material.
