Have any of you ever heard of this block? I'm going to try and post a picture of some of the blocks. I saw it this past week and just fell in love. Just what I need, another quilt that I "have" to make. LOL

thats pretty neat looking

looks a little more complex than a log cabin due to the angles...but i like it

Kay Woods has templates for hexagons and octagons and has made blocks on her show with them.

There are no angles to sew! It's all straight lines. Don't fear the Octo! :wink: Start with a basic Octogon. Continue around completely with one color. I doesn't look like it matters where you start round two at. Continue on until it is the size you want. Looks like a great one for QAYG.
