On one of the topics on spray basting, one of the gals mentioned she used Krylon Spray. Inquiring mind that I have, I looked up the various Krylon Spray Adhesives. I found this "Paper Finishes Easy-Tack Repositionable Adhesive" could be used on fabric. See info from the Michael's website below. I also went to the Krylon website and looked it up there.

http://www.michaels.com/Krylon%C2%AE...dhesive/gc0277,default,pd.html

"Krylon® Easy-Tack™ Adhesive provides a repositionable bond on most light weight materials and may be adjusted, removed, and reapplied throughout the life of the bond. Benefits: Low odor, non-staining, long-lasting tack, non-wrinkling, less curl. It’s acid-free formula is ideal for scrapbook projects and it’s also great for stenciling and much more!"

Read what it says and let me know what you think. The price is about half of the other spray basting products we use.

the other thing it states in the product details is that "Low Odor" but when you read the caution:
"CAUTION ADVISORIES OR SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS: Strong fumes - keep area ventilated during use and until all vapors are gone. Avoid continuous breathing of vapor and spray mist. "

Kinda contradictory isn't it?

The article doesn't say, so I assume it may gum up the needle.

Well, guess the only way to find out is going to be to go buy a can, try it on a piece you don't care too much about and see if it gunks up your needle. If not, I would say go for it.
