Thread: oh wow, I forgot about this foot!

I am not so good at sewing binding on by machine. It just never looks tidy and seems to never keep a straight line. I had forgotten that i have a stitch in the ditch foot for my pfaff and rediscovered it last night. It was so easy to use with it's little guide that follows right along the line and keeps the stitches right in the ditch.
I really should pull out the different feet and play with them once in a while. Like all of those pretty stitches, I forget what all I can do.

So often someone is asking how to stitch in the ditch and this foot was so helpful that I wanted to share the info.

I must admit that the edge stitch foot is the one I use more than anything except the regular straight stitch one, and I am a foot junkie! Before I got my quilting machine. I used it for stitching next to (not on) the seam for contrast. I also use it frequently for garment sewing.

I have a Pfaff and I use my bi-level foot for sewing the binding on - sew the binding to the back first and then bring it to the front and sew it down with the bi-level. Love it!
