Well, I am anti-ripping and generally throw things out and start over. But NOT after making all those blocks that look great. I agree with the other suggestions. Fix the three. Then finish it or then try putting the blocks together again. Whichever you decide to do, just enjoy the finished quilt. I think we've all been there and eventually decided we liked the "new" look just as much.

Finished!
Okay. It's done. I fixed the three formerly correct blocks (making them incorrect but consistent with the other 45) and put it together in such a way that the woven look is preserved in both directions (because of the dominating brown), -and the paisley pink stripes and floral pink stripes line up in the horizontal directiion. The paisley pink stripes and floral pink stripes don't line up in the vertical but I guess it isn't too obvious.
I assure you I tried the rotations, as suggested, but when I've blocks were rotated you lost the "connections" in one direction or the other. That was the point of making it according to the original directions (which I messed up on).
Thanks, everyone!
Btw, not sure how much of a fan I am of qayg. One nice thing, I guess, is that there was absolutely no hand sewing. This pattern used one of the Fun and Done rulers.

Even with the issues, they are not that noticable and the quilt is beautiful! You did a great job and still can make the original when you want to. You have a wonderful quilt there and you saved a possible disaster!! You are a hero!!!!!

Good to hear your beautiful part of the world is receiving help. It sure looked devastating on the news. If it were me I would not redo 43 blocks. Yikes just the thought is daunting! I'd redo the three and make it work. Good luck. Please repost and show us what you decided to do ok.
