Does anyone like to use metallic thread when hand quilting?
I used it to do outline of shapes in two quilts and it really looked nice. I called manufacturer and they said it would wash fine. I used the variegated color and was pleased with it. But, I am worried how long it will last from washing year after year.

I thing that trying to use it for hand quilting would be a bear...it twists so much that I imagine you'd be getting it tangles up a lot. Hoping to learn more from other responses. thanks for the question.

well, one trick is to not have a long strand of it. It tangles after a while if you do. But the result is worth using it.
