An older lady I work with is getting rid of a bunch of quilts her MIL made. She was going to send them to the goodwill I about cried when she said this so I told her maybe she could sell them on craiglslist. After seeing some of the pictures I really want to get 3 of them but have no clue what to offer. In some of the close up's she sent you can see some wear and tear.

Thanks
Ginger

As she was going to give them to the goodwill, maybe she'll take 20 each or so just as a token...

Or could you make her something in exchange?

Oh my, such choice patterns! Without looking up close and seeing the backs, it will be hard to put a price on them. If she's a friend, just ask her what she wants for them.

Oh those are wonderful. I agree, $20 each at least for the first offer! What was she going to ask on craig?

I emailed her telling her I that I'm interested in at least 3 of them. She had no idea what she was going to ask for them on craigslist and that's why she sent me the pictures. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed

And even that is probably a steal, depending on the condition!

Too bad she doesn't choose to have them appraised before she sells them; she might be surprised how much they are worth, especially as she was just going to give them to Goodwill.
