I was at a shop in Trenton Fl. "Swannee River Quilt Shoppe"
On the wall was a beautiful Old Santa quilt. There were about twelve different Santa's all appliqued with I think using flannel.
Anyway they did not have the pattern. Do any of you have any ideas. I really want to do something like.

I'd start looking for pictures of old Santas/Father Christmas and see what you can find and adapt. Sounds like it would make a really pretty wallhanging.

For all interested I found the Santa pattern. It is called Classic Santa's pattern by Sue Garman at Quakertown Quilts

Pretty pricey for a pattern! I would try adapting/customizing from a Christmas card or colouring book first.
