I recently bought an Olfa circle cutter. Thought it would be good to have. Used my mother's day money. Needless to say I am very disappointed. I can't seem to master the technique. I have watched the demo video on Olfa's website. She makes it seem so simple, but it is not, at least not for me. Anyone else have this problem with this gizmo?

I was given one when I first started quilting, couldn't figure it out and ended up "gifting" it to our guild. Hope someone can give you some tips as it sure looks like it would be a great tool.

I don't have one but while in my LQS last week, the lady working there was telling me that she used one and loved it.

I have one and have really enjoyed it. I guess it is just a difference in how we work.

I don't think I would like the circle cutter. I dont see how you can control it around the curves. I can't get video to load here to see the demo. Good luck with it! Sherry

I have been practicing. I am beginning to get the hang of it.

I have one but haven't tried it yet. Thanks for the warning that it could be a frustrating endeavour to!

I have it, I love mine....

It helps to have the rotating cutting mat, so you spin the mat while holding the cutter stationary.
