These are really heavy duty. DO you know the exact model? If it has a permantly installed walking foot, then I would think you could not do FMQ, but you would do fabulous stitch in the ditch!
If you can remove the walking foot, you may be able to FMQ, if the feed dogs don't drop, you can try covering them with an index card.

I have not heard of any industrial models that work for FMQ. Most of them are strictly for leather or upholstery, and will not do FMQ.

Hello All.
I just got my first industrial sewing machine. it is a consew 205 rb1 walking foot. I have been using it for about 16 hours now stitching a gazeebo awning (14 feet diameter). The fabric is a sunbrella. I am happy with the performance of the machine.

I tried test-stitching 6 layers of the fabric. This machine can handle it.

I have a question: i have been lookin for a 3/4" hemmer for this model. All I am seeing so far are hemmers for a 206 consew. will a hemmer for a 206 work with my 205rb1?
