Default Omni Edge rulers?

Has anyone tried the new Omni Edge Rulers?? Nancy's Notions has them on sale, although it indicates they are not available until the end of this month. I am not sure if this is something totally new or if it's simply new to N N. It looks like it might work a bit like the more expensive cutting systems by keeping the fabric from slipping while cutting.
Here is a link for this product. Sure love to hear some or
Thank you for any responses.

I have it...its a bit flimsy since its so long. I have a love hate relationship with it. I also find it moves when cutting since I only have one hand on it.

I have a couple of the O'lipfa rulers. Same idea, however, the lip is permanent, not removable. Much less expensive. You do need to walk your hand up the ruler if you use the longer ones.

CarolAug: Hmmmm..... doesn't sound sturdy enough to keep fabric from slipping

PaperPrincess: thanks so much for a less expensive alternative!

You know, the only thing new about this ruler, is the removable edge. Idea going on in head when I saw this. I'm sure there are something you could purchase and make your own edge for any ruler. I remember buying Folders for my kids when they had book reports and the plastic edge came off. Wonder if they expand enough to hold ruler. All you need is to cut it and it doesn't have to be exact length. I think I"m going to find something to make an edge for my existing rulers. Thanks for asking.
