I went and looked at the Popa's original quilt and I have to say I love your colors more!! Are you planning to border it in the white or purple?? This would be a great quilt for anyone!!

It is a very different quilt, but quite striking and I really like the purple. Good job, and have fun with your adventures in quilting!

It looks good and the purple works. It's strong enough to contrast well with the white.

I am going to border it in purple, though I don't have any more of the purple print, so it will be a plain purple. I thought about the white, and I like white, but that might be too much white.

Love your quilt! Every once in a while I push myself to try something totally different to, hopefully, advance my skills.

I think it is great you have challenged yourself! And I love the purple.

Your quilt is beautiful and so is the fabric and quilt design. Last year I stretched outside the box when I made a black and white log cabin quilt for our family reunion, and it was gorgeous - I received so many, many different fabrics in black and white, which made it fun to make.
