Default One trip: Mary Jo's or Marshall Dry goods?

Been thinking about taking a solo excursion, just place my body in the auto and drive. Which shop would you want to visit first? Thanks for your input!

If I was going to both , it would be Marshall's first. If I only could go to one it would be Mary Jo's.

I'd say that Marshall's would be closer to you.

If I had my choice, it would be Mary Jo's. I hope to get to go there someday!! I would even plan a vacation around her store if I could get hubby to agree.

Where is Mary Jo, don't think I have heard of it. I've been thinking about a trip to Marshall's which is 8 hour drive for me. Might make a weekend trip. Love their website and have heard can get great prices in person. Hope so.

Mary Jos is in Gastonia NC. I've never been to Marshalls but Mary Jos is the bomb! It does not disappoint!

If you go to Marshall's first, Mary Jo's will have everything you couldn't find. I go there a few times a year and always buy too much. If you aren't sure about something, keep the name off the border, you can order it on the phone and they'll mail it to you.
