Make sure you know what country it is being shipped from. I order thread and when I got my charge bill, there was an addition by Discover for out of country/international transaction on my bill.....drove up the cost per spool too much for me to order from them again......BTW isn't REd rock in Canada?

Looks like they are going out of business so if anyone wants the thread, you need to do it real soon.

Does anyone know of or have a numerical listing (in order) of the Aurifil cotton Mako thread. I printed a list from the Internet but the numbers are completely out of order. Want to use it to inventory my tread. Thanks.

Thanks again for posting this link. I ordered 10 spools today for $69 shipped and she already shipped them!

This is another "prewash or don't prewash" type of question. Some swear by a thinner thread on bottom. ...some say only same on top and in bobbin.

personally, I prefer my piecing threads to match (top/bobbin) in color and weight. I use a 50 wt most of the time, unless I need a color that I do not have in 50 wt. Most of my other thread is 40wt.
