Hi, It seams that I have damged the needle shaft. my needle is rubbing against the right side of the plate hole and I am breaking needles. Has anyone done this, can I fix it or must I take it in for service.

I use my mega quilter for making dog collars. I had the machine altered to take a heavy weight fabric.

If you are sure that you are inserting the needle correctly, then, yes. Sounds like a service call.

Take it in for service, don't be surprised at the repair cost!
$100 for my little lightweight machine that was damaged by United Airlines.
