Yah gotta laugh at yourself! Been there done that! I have a little basket of mistakes I refer to every now and then. Course it is tucked away so no one else can see them.

I was embroidering a onesie, and relized in time, that I had the back in the hoop also. Would have been awful hard to get it on.

I have never done it with embroidery but I have when FMQ on my machine. Sigh. It's so frustrating.

I don't embroider but I have been putting binding on a quilt and low and behold all of a sudden it felt like that binding was thicker then the rest and sure enough I turned it over and part of it had folded over without me knowing...now that was a pain in the butt, because it was on black fabric...with black thread. I got it ripped out though and that was the first date that Jack (ripper) and I ever had and since then weve had thousands of dates...wonder if he's ever going to marry me. LOLOL

I embroidered a shirt sleeve on to a shirt front. Caught it pretty early, spent some time with a ripper.

I usually just laugh about it and start a do-over. Like I always say about myself---why do it the easy way when you can do it the hard way?????????? LOL Seems like we've all done it.

I am so happy that I am not alone! On the plus side, it helped me with the placement of the embroidery on the do-over!
I have never thought of naming my seam ripper... I think mine would be named "Oh, dang it" or "Crap"
Maybe if I had a name for it, I would be happy when I needed it.
