Thanks for all your input. I bit the bulletin and bought it today! I'm soooo excited. I attend my 1st embroidery class on Sat. I saw a gorgeous embroidered/embellished quilt in their shop...I want to do that!!

I have a Bernina 730, I just love it. I do mostly quilting and the wider feed dogs don't bother me. You can change the plate which helps when you piecing small pieces. . I used the wider stitches and the look real good. Iam real Bernia fan so if you can afford one go for it.

I have a bernia and love it - never had any problems. Your machine sounds heavenly.
