Question Opinions on Ginghers Rotary Cutters

I have been very unhappy with OLFA lately. Blades dull right out of the package or quickly dulling during use. I have been thinking of trying Ginghers Rotary Cutter, the price is a little steep but with a coupon I can get it at a price that I can be happy with. If you have the Ginghers rotary cutter are you happy with it? Is it equal to OLFA?

    TIA

I got one when they first had them on sale at Joann's and don't use it. There is something about the design that I couldn't get used to - although that was about a year ago and don't really remember exactly what it was. However I will tell you that the ginger blades fit in the Olfa cutters. I just couldn't let a good blade go to waste and didn't have any trouble. I can't tell you if it has lasted longer as I just found it last month and put it in.

I've never heard of a Gingher Rotary cutter. But I have bought the Titanium blades and when my current blade gets dull I'll try them out. Titanium blades are 3x harder than steel.

I have one and I love it. I bought 100 blades from JHittle Co. and they fit well in the Gingher.

I looooooooooooooooooove my Gingher rotary cutter!!! I didn't think I'd like the weight of it but it's balanced and fits your hand really nicely. The blades stay sharper longer than any other blade I've ever used.

I love my Gingher cutter. The Gingher blades outlast any of the other brands of blades I have used. The weight is wonderful...highly recommend a Gingher cutter!!!

Hmmm - that's exactly how I feel about mine! Doesn't feel right.

Love my Ginghers too. Got it on ebay. Just make sure you order the correct one for you. Either right or left handed. There is not one that is for both. I dont have trouble with any brand blade getting dull quickly. What kind of mat are you using. If it is one of those white ones - they dull the blades really fast. Your mat may be the culprit.
