My grandson- 6- must have been playing with my machine while I was in the shower! It was fine before and when I went to sew suddenly it would not work! I asked him if he was sewing with it and he said I just touched a lot of buttons. I tried everything I could think of. It is threaded right, bobbin is okay. I would appreciate any help! Thank you!

Does It turn on but not run or not turn on at all?
Are all the cords connected where they need to be?
Did you try unplugging everything including the foot pedal and plugging everything back in?

Hi, I have a 640 bernina and it has a button to hit to clear everything out and set it back to factory settings, if that doesn't work try taking the plug out and give it a minute and reinsert it, like rebooting it...hope this helps...

Try turning it off and unplugging it. Leave it unplugged for about 30 seconds, then plug it in and turn it on. That's how I get my computer to clear out all the junk in it.

I had a problem with my bernina ,I called a repair man at a local store and he walked me thru the adjustment,a simple bobbin adjustment, could you call a bernina dealer or a shop that sells berninas maybe they can walk you thru it...Good luck ...

Aren't kids wonderful? They push a few buttons and the machine won't work at all. He was probably trying to be just like Grandma.

I have the 230PE and have had problems out of nowhere it seems before. Almost every time I need to rethread. Rethreading has fixed the problem 99% of the time.
