I saw the same article and was very impressed, but think it's probably not in my future. I will be looking forward to seeing what some of you do, tho.

I have two books on the topic...
Fantastic Fabric Folding
and
Quiltagami

I love to buy quilting books and look through them alot but haven't tried alot of the techniques yet. I plan to try the fabric folding book soon. I prefer the first book. The directions are clearer and the pictures are better. Both books are pretty good though.

Thanks for the names of the books. I am going to look next time I"m in an LQS. I was thinking we would get more ideas and pictures here. Maybe soon. I am buying some origami today to use for samples. And then, so as not to waste them, will use them for making cards to send out. Will keep checking for ideas and books and links. Thank you.

The one standout quilt I saw at the Sister's quilt show was an origami design. It was mostly black and white except the flowers/buds. Here's a coupla pics. I LOVE it!

Thank you for posting this. I love the colors. I am wondering if there will be origami quilts at the Houston Quilt show or one in Plano. Hope you enjoyed the Sisters quitl show. I was up there years ago and was amazed at it. Hope more post pictures.
