Wow... Perusing quiltshops.com and stumbled into this amazing garden-- Phillip Jacobs Florals for Westminster Fibers. Have any of you used these in a quilt? If so, please post!!! I wanna see!

I'm just hand quilting a Welsh pieced quilt I made using mostly Philip Jacobs and a few Kaffe Fassett. It's very Busy and bright!!!! I prefer the PJ's to the Kaffe fabrics though so will use again, but I will try to match the colours better, very difficult to do that when ordering online as a few looked different when they arrived. I backed it with his rambling rose in yellow which is beautiful, I just love looking at it. My Daughter a leaving home soon though and has claimed it to take with her so maybe the top is better than I think.

His whole range is here

I will get my DD to take a Pic tonight and post, be kind though lol, its only my second quilt. We are all making the quilts in my quilting class, everyone else's is subtle and "Welsh" looking and then there's mine, which is wild! I don't know about you, but my Friend calls me a magpie, I can't see why I would spend £10 a yard on brown fabric, when I could have a nice bright pink for the same price :0)

Wanda uses the whole Kaffe collective (Kaffe, Phillip, Brandon) and the other Westminster designers (Carla and Martha) in her quilts:

It's one of my favorite blogs.

Scroll back to her earlier posts and you'll see how she uses these large scale prints in smaller pieces, and does some of the most fabulous value work out there.
