I wash mine very gently. They all have done just fine except one and it not was a pretty sight! Reduces shrinkage as I am not a big fan of the crinkled look for my quilts, reduces allergens and removes wrinkles.

I spritz with some water and put it in the dryer on low for about 10 minutes.

I simply throw the batting into a warm dryer as is without towels for a few minutes. The batting comes out wrinkle free.

I like to dampen it in the washer and spin out the excess water and then put it in the dryer. I think it controls the shrinkage. I don't mind the crinkly look but I like to be more sure of the finished dimensions of my quilts.

As soon as I get home with new batting I throw it in the washer on hot and regular/normal cycle then in a warm dryer. Then I lay it across my queen size bed to let it rest, fold and put away. When I need to use it, I throw it on my bed again and mist with hot water. Dries in no time.

I use Warm and Natural from the package. I just take it out, smooth it with my hand and sandwich it. I've never had a problem with the fold creases.

I tumble the batting in my dryer on air only. Sometimes if it's really wrinkled, I will put in a wet wash cloth and tumble on the lowest heat possible. It only takes about 20 minutes.

At least take it out of the package and drape it over something--sofa, shower rod, or hang from your fleece wall and the weight of the batting should make the wrinkles smooth out. If you are able, spritz very lightly.

I did it as a few of you mentioned with a couple of small cloths that I dampened and put in the dryer on the 10 minute fluff cycle and it worked great. I did put my dryer balls in to keep it tumbling nice without bunching up. I put it through 2 cycles like that because the first time the dryer went off the middle was still creased but now it's flat and ready to go. I'm so thankful your you ladies and all your consistent wisdom!
