what exactly are you wondering about using them? for mine i have a laser stylis, roll the pantogragh out on my quilting table, line up the laser with the panto, and the quilt top; tape it down so it doesn't move and follow it with the laser to quilt the quilt.

As long as we are on the subject of pantos, and I sincerely do not mean to high-jack this thread.... Where are good sources to get them and do you have specific designers you really like?
Do you prefer pantos over marking with stencils and pounce pad?

There are a zillion places for pantos. You can even make your own. Here is a good place to look--a fav. for me:
http://www.intelligentquilting.com/ I also purchased some at JoAnns--books and papers.
