Does anyone know where there is a link for a free pattern for a pp wolf or applique pattern ? I have googled but am not having much luck. Almost everything I find is a panel which I already have.

You can try:http://www.fourtwinsisters.com/, I don't know if they have any but it's the only site I can think of that might have it for free. Silver Linings would be another site that most would have a paper pieced wolf but it won't be free.

Have you tried Alaska children's coloring books to use as a template for your applique? Or how about stained glass patterns of wolves?

My son is into wolves and these two ideas have given me some pretty good designs. You would have to take the picture and manipulate it, but there are some pretty good pictures out there.
