Sally Collins has a free precision piecing video class at the Quilt Show website. It is a fantastic class.

Her book The Art of Machine Piecing is available for Kindle for $9.99.

You can still find copies of the miniature quilts magazine on ebay
    http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_saca...gazine&_sop=12
They've gone out of business though, nothing new being published.

If I remember correctly most of the blocks were between 4-6 inches. Not what we'd call mini today, but a great place to start.
    Happy Piecing!

Still doing my research about paper piecing. Has anyone here tried Peggy Martin's method of paper piecing with strips?

I think that the first successful way I learn something is what I tend to stick with. That's probably why I return to some techniques I learned in jr. high home ec! I learned pp first with Carol Doak and thats where I stay. IMHO there is no reason for me to change from something that allows me to achieve perfect results.
