Can someone tell me what a bed runner is for? Maybe that is not the name but that what this person was calling it. She said that it goes at the bottom of the bed.

Are they easy to make if there is a such thing?

They are a short quilt put across the bottom of the bed. My daughter says that they started in the better hotels and were a place for people to unpack. I think that they are used mostly for decoration.

I first saw the in hotel. I thought was a decorating thing, but I discovered they help keep your feet warm under them when you do not want at lot of cover on the rst of you.
