I came across this website for the double wedding ring and was wondering if anybody bought her ebook. It is only $6.5 but just curious to see if any of you tried her method and if they would recommend it.

Thanks

I did suck up once for that book, complete waste of my money and ink for the printer. If you would like to make the DWR quilt there is lots of help here and on the net free. I think paper piecing the rings is the way to go. I have the free pdf file somewhere. PM me.

I'm PP one. I got the pattern off the internet. It's fun and easy.

I used Eleanor Burn's method. Here's a link to a video showing how to do it. Oh, and it's also free!:D

did you use the template in the book, or buy the acrylic one offered by Quilt in a Day?

I ordered the acrylic one off of Eleanor's site. She was having a sale and I got that & the triangle in a square ruler for another pattern I'll soon be working on. Both came very quickly and were reasonably priced.

The reason I wanted the acrylic template was so I could actually use my rotary cutter with it instead of marking with the paper one, then lining up my own ruler on all the lines and cutting. It was worth it to me to save a bunch of steps. :D
