I bought the same board at my local Walmart, Target also carries them.
Glad to know the covers are available.

I made a bit ironing board - tutorial is in the tutorial section here - but man this sounds so much lighter to deal with! I'm so tempted to get it. I know that my husband would think I was nuts if I got this one - especially with us moving and all... I've been on a minor buying binge for things for the new house..... What's another $40 right? He might not notice it and he rarely ever comes in to my craft room....

HA HA HA HA - my husband about FLIPPED when I told him that I was buying another ironing board. He response was something like - are you collecting ironing board now like you do sewing machines? Well, no. The board I replaced went to the thrift store. It wasn't the best, but was useable

BTW - I went from one of the older T leg boards - the ones where you have one leg and a perpendicular piece actually hits the floor. Well the house we live in now is all hardwood floors. The T leg board was ALWAYS wobbly because of the age of the floors and them not being perfect flat anymore.

With this one, it has the four individual feet and what a difference that has made. So firm and steady now it is a joy to iron - at least for quilting. ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Could someone post a link? I went online and the ones I saw don't look any wider than usual. How wide is the wide one?

This is a great alternative to making one. Will have to look for one next time I go. Would love to have the extra space and not have that skinny part to deal with.

I am very pleased with my ironing board. I hope that if you are one who wants one, that your Wal-Mart has them.
Is this the ironing board you purchased?
