Default Passover gift suggestions?

So I am invited to my first Passover to friends of SIL. Want to bring something - usually I bring food but I wouldn't know where to begin. Any ideas of something I could sew and bring as a little gift??? Are there colors or things that are related to Passover? HELP!!

You can go to the liquor store and buy a bottle of wine that is Kosher for Passover. If you want to make something, a fabric sleeve as a wine cover is lovely.

I agree, a Matzo cover. Most I've seen are round, but any shape would be appreciated. Google Matzo Cover to see examples of what's out there. Traditional "Jewish" colors are blue & white, after the flag of Israel. Have a wonderful time at the Sedar! Lucky you, my family is too far away for me to join them at the holiday.

P.S. Make sure any food or drink you may want to bring states "Kosher for Passover" on it.

In all probability, they all ready have a matzo cover if they are having a sedar. There is a tradition close to the beginning that they break the middle matzo in half, and the children hide one piece that they use in the end.. The children bargain with the adults to get it back... Not many people have a pouch for the cut piece.. The traditional colors are white, and blue.. It depends on the matzo they use, and what size to make it.. It can be used for years, and you should be able to sew it up very fast.

How about a pretty basket with a quilted cloth to wrap the bread in. You could make it in traditional colors so it would fit the occasion.
