I'm just starting on a scrap quilt called Patches and Pinwheels. I'm going through all my scrap fabric and am just having a ball! Brings back so many memories of quilts and bags etc that I have made.

Minnie I'm doing the same thing. You're right about remembering past projects. But have you found some fabric and wondered "what was this from?" or worse yet "what was I thinking when I bought this?" I found a few of those LOL.

I have found a few "what was this from" but I think I have some scraps from my sisters and another quilting buddy. I got down a basket of scraps from a high shelf today and was just awed by what was in it. I was oohhing and aahhing all the way through it!

Don't worry, you'll have a lot of scraps soon. They accumulate really fast!

We had a somewhat new quilt shop open up out here and she had a back room full of scraps. Near the end of doing away with the room she put them on sale for 1.oo a pound. I bought some for two of my gds schools and built up a huge stash.
