My dh and I are members of the American Legion and I quickly, without thinking as usual, volunteered to make a patriotic quilt to raffle off for a fund raiser. I am looking for some ideas for a quilt that doesn't take alot of time but is a nice red white and blue.

fast and easy.... simple blocks are the quickest. alternating stars and stripes wouldn't be to much more time. It's really up to what you want to make. No matter how much I should do this or that, it's always what I want to do that gets done first!

I like warm wishes You could use a patriotic print for the 6" squares and red, white and blue for the rail fence. Works up fast and easy to quilt.
