    I am wanting to make a wallhanging for the 4th of July.
    Something simple and quick (is there such a thing)
    Does anyone know of any free patterns.

    Red White and Blue rail fence??? You could do a a 2 colored bordered and the third color as the binding.

    I made a wall hanging of an eagle from Quilt in a Day, Star Spangled Favorites. It is an easy pattern and very patriotic.
