My SIL gave me a b-day present in a mason jar....8 fat quarters for a quilt. Only problem....I NEED a pattern. I'm not enough of a quilter to think of something on my own.

Any recommendations? And where to get the pattern you recommend free?

THANKS!

There is a pattern called crazy eights which uses 8 fat quarters. I have it but haven't used it yet. I got mine at LQS but it may be available on line.
This is what it looks like but i wasn't able to find the pattern for free.

Hi and welcome to the board from Iowa. There are tons of free patterns on the internet. Just type in (Google or Bing or whatever search engine you use) free quilt patterns and you will have a ton of choices. Go for it. Please share with us what you make (smile).

I've made "Crazy Eights" several times. It is a small lap quilt, but it is very nice considering you are only using 8 fat quarters.
