If you had one more fabric, you could make a Yellow Brick Road. How about a Trip Around the World? Or Take Five?

I was just going thru some papers the other day & ran across a"Super-Sized Nine Patch" I don't know where I got it, must be off the 'net. Across the bottom of the page it reads,"Quiltmaker-May/June '06* Copyright @2006 Primedia Inc. All rights reserved" I hope this helps you.

do you know where I can find a free pattern for Yellow Brick Road? If I get one more fabric, do you think I should get another solid or another print? my local Joann store did not have much of a selections as far as baby prints go.

thank you for your suggestions!

I was going to suggest a simple block pattern. A 9 patch would be great!

I just looked up the super nine patch and it would be ideal. She could use the prints as the focus fabric in each block then finish out with the solids. I just googled "super size nine patch"

How about something like this? That way you don't have to cut up those cute printed fabrics too tiny.

GrannieAnnie - with the super size nine patch - say I make 3 blocks 1 each with the 3 different prints, then should I mix up the solids I use around the print? I can follow a pattern but coming up with a design is a weakness of mine :-(
