I recently got some fabric that I LOVE and I want to make a quilt out of it. However, it has quite a large print and I want to display the fabric more than my ability to make the star block, etc. Does anyone have a suggestion for a very easy (I'm very new at this) pattern that I can use that displays a large print fabric?

I saw a lovely quilt on here under the heading," I just added borders" it was posted in the last couple of days, a beautiful pattern and it might just be what you are looking for. You could PM the person who posted it to get the name of the pattern.

There is an excellent pattern called "Just Can't Cut it". You use your large scale fabric in very big pieces, plus 5 coordinating prints. It is all square and rectangles. Very easy.

Try a snowball block. It is easy and will accomidate the larger print.

this quilt on my avatar is the BQ quilt and I have made it several times with prints that I hate to cut. You can make the blocks larger also.

The flowers are about 1 1/2" to 2" in diameter.
