Large prints like this make the prettiest "Stack 'n' Whack" quilts. You need eight repeats of the pattern to do that. A little over four yards will be enough for an 18 in. repeat. And you'll have enough left to make a really nice border to show the pattern of the original fabric.

These are my favorite colors to make a quilt with too. I, like so many others, would want to keep it as whole as possible to make the bed quilt. The accent turquoise should be darker than the print turquoise so the print would be the one to shine when the finished quilt is done. That would take it to the background and allow the fabric to be the star of the top.

I found this, so beautiful...you might be able to use your fabric in this pattern...along with some complimentary fabrics to go with it...maybe even find the center panel...

With such a large design, I'd use a pattern that would feature the beautiful fabric in each square. Can't find the one I'm thinking of right now. But this gave me an idea https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...:&vet=1&w=1000
