I would like to do a smallish wall hanging for my wonderful physical therapist, but am drawing a total blank regarding what to do? Does anyone have a suggestion? :?: I need something that isn't too time consuming (no applique) but I did learn how to paper piece. I would really appreciate hearing from someone who has a good idea. Thanks.

Don't know how good the idea but... have you considered a simple square pattern with hands in the center? You can easily border the squares with medical fabric or simple pinwheels to represent the "cartwheels" many feel their therapists puts them through...just a thought.

I love it! I like doing geometric patterns, and I saw some really cute medical type fabric at Walmart's the last time I was there. I am going to do up a drawing tonight.

Too bad you didn't have Mary. Not only has she worked with my foot, but has given me many exercises for my back, flexibility, my other foot, etc. She is very postive about any little progress, and doesn't bite my head off when I don't get as far as I should have. I hope I can pay her back by treating my students as well as she treated me. :-)

Here is the finished product. I call it Zinger because that's what she calls the little shocks that come when nerves reactivate.
