Default Pattern for really small quilt scraps

I need a pattern that requires really small quilt scraps. I really don't want to make a postal stamp quilt. And the pattern would probably need to be paper pieced. But I'm open for all suggestions. Thanks! ~~Ann~~

here is a recent thread (yesterday) that addressed small scraps and a few ideas on what to do with them: http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...l-t209975.html

I did a pineapple quilt from really small scraps.

You should check out Bonnie Hunter's site, www.http://quiltville.com/index.html. There's also confetti quilts, which is my next project.

I'm planning on one of these (third one down) to use up some scraps. I'm going to use 4.5" x 12.5" pieces of muslin and then just sew scraps onto that:

I think I will keep my scraps fairly vertical, and I'm going to alternate the scrappy blocks with a solid sashing, so the layout will be a little different...

I have made several 8 X 10 inch french braid quilts from this book and they were foundation pieced.

I just copy the foundations from the book on some vellum and they turned out very cute. They use very tiny pieces. I also like to make very tiny foundation pieced log cabin blocks. They are very versatile.

I made this one from scraps leftover from another project. The blocks are about 4 inches square.

The next one will have basket blocks and log cabin blocks.
