Default Pattern suggestion, please

I have two fabrics, one with a flying eagle print, the other is scenic with old churches as focal point. I want to make quilts with them in which I fussy cut the eagle/church and then . . . . . do what? I've used Warm Wishes and Attic Windows so many times. Are there any other pattern suggestions you can give me that have nice large squares and then smaller whatever pieces.

Maybe you can get an idea for the eagle one from this: http://www.quiltinaday.com/shoponline/book/1370

First ideas that come to mind ......
* Log Cabin strips around the FC block ... and letting the strips create a secondary log cabin look to your quilt.

* Any star pattern with a large block in the centre

* Square in a Square blocks

Snowball blocks are good for this kind of thing.

All I can think off is this http://shecanquilt.blogspot.ca/2013/...ohio-star.html block. I saved it because I love it. May be you could use the fussy cuts for the center instead of the small star and sashings?

How big are the churches and the eagle? Those are pretty fabrics. I especially like the church as I have never seen that before. Would you mind to share the manufacturer's name??
