What pattern have you found that is easy but looks more complicated than it really is?

Is that even possible?

carpenter's wheel made with half square triangles is a great one.

That Disappearing 9 patch in fabulous fabrics gives a lot of bang for the buck. I also love the potato chip quilt pattern but it looks less complicated. On the other hand, it's perfect for showing off some sassy FMQ!

I've been hearing a lot about the disappearing 9 patch recently. I found a tutroial and it really looks easy. Thanks.

The potato chip quilt is nice for pieces you want to showcase.

D9P, French braid is very easy. Looks way more complicated than it is.

Also, I've found that using busier prints on simpler patterns also makes the quilt look more complicated than it was.
