    Pattern Upsizing Help

I would really like to make this http://www.modabakeshop.com/2013/06/...uilt.html#more but I would like it to finish approximately 110x110.
Can anyone help me calculate how many of each kind of block I would need? I'm really hopeless at upsizing...
    Thanks!

The blocks finish at 8" after final seams are sewn. Just divide 8 into 110 and that will tell you how many you need to do across and down. 110/8 = 13.75 blocks wide. You will have to go up to 112 (14 blocks) or down to 104" (13 blocks). If you are going to put some borders on your project, then you will need to deduct the borders...just say 1 border at 7 inches from your width/length....110 -14 (7x2) = 96 / 8 = 12 blocks.

There are only 2 blocks in the quilt. If you are doing 14 blocks wide, then your calculation is 14 x 14 = 196 / 2 = 98 of each block.

Interesting pattern. So many great patterns are on Moda's website. Good Luck. This is when Electric Quilt becomes so handy to have.
