Default Patterns for Charity Quilts

Does anyone have some simple, easy patterns for charity quilts or know a website I can get some?

here's a few to get you started...but you can just google "free quilt patterns" and you have tons to choose from
http://www.scrapquilts.com/0101bom.html
www.missouriquiltco.com
www.quilterscache.com

also you can put "easy patterns" in the search box above plus most of the fabric manufacturers (Moda, Benartex RJ Kaufman etc etc have free patterns on their sites. Good luck and happy you are doing charity quilts!

make 4-patch blocks- alternate with print fabric blocks- narrow border, wider border- done childs quilt-
or large patch raggy quilts are quick, easy- and loved by all. or use panals-with 2 or 3 borders around....any pattern will work- just depends on how much work you want to do.

I love Warm Wishes. Its easy, but looks harder. Here is the link:

http://www.quiltmaker.com/patterns/projectlinus.html

That page has all the Project Linus free patterns they have offered. They offer a new pattern each year.

I've used 1 called "wickedly easy" several times and like it. It was a free pattern on the internet. Should be able to find it by googling the name. If not, let me know and I'll hunt for it. Headed to a Thanksgiving to-do so short on time right now.

This is a great site for free patterns for charity use (not for resale):
http://azblankets4kids.com/
If you are on the Home page, click on Patterns on the left, then scroll down past Preemies (unless that's the size you want!) to Quilts and you will see lots of easy, cute patterns. Many have multiple sizes, from toddler to teen sizes.

Our guild makes charity quilts for the oncology unit and the veteran's hospital. They are just a disappearing 9 patch made with 6-1/2 inch blocks. Make 4 units -sew together put a border and use a fleece background. I wasn't sure if I was talented enough to make them but i did one and ended up getting two more toppers to do. Very easy and fun to do!
