patterns of sewing machines to applique or piece or ? for a quilt

I would love to make a quilt with different sewing machines all over it...either applique (which I like but have never done well enough to be happy with) or maybe ones that use triangles and such to form, or ...you know, something not too difficult but that would have different machine shapes etc...can you invision it? any one got any suggestions? maybe paper piece pattern (altho I am not too good at that either)

I was looking at a pattern called "Sew Vintage" by Lunch Box Quilts, it has a machine plus various notions to appliqué. I thought it would make a cute wall hanging for the sewing room. What is cool is it comes with or without embroidery designs to do it (with the embroidery designs costs more). I saw it made at a quilt shop and it was adorable.

Go to fat quarter shop dot com and look at the free quilt "snapshots" on their blog. Block 2 or 3 is a sewing machine.

The Christmas Goose quilt shop in Las Vegas had a row by row pattern of appliquéd sewing machines that resembled the Singer featherweight.
