$50 would be reasonable, though many charge $75.

Binding by machine or hand stitched to back. Makes a difference in time, therefore price. I agree 50-75 depending on method and time.

i charge a couple ladies i know $30- $40 to put the bindings on quilts for them depending on size and how long it takes me...i consider myself fairly fast but sometimes the fabric involved makes it much more difficult. the ladies i do this for do not do their own because of arthritis so are very appreciative and feel that my prices are not too high, one lady does have another quilter who does them for $20 regardless of size...she splits hers between me and the other lady, but has never complained that i charge a bit more.

She tied the quilt as well as sewing on the binding by hand? That would make a difference in the pricing, IMO.
