What would you recommend as a good fabric glue that will be permanent and flexible after laundering?

I'll be interested in the answers. The only permanent glues I'm aware of are stiff. I would use a featherweight fusible web, like misty fuse as they seem to always stay flexible.

I've used Aleene's Fabric Fusion. I don't know how flexible you need it to be. I'd do a test piece to be sure it will behave the way you want it to.

Otherwise, I agree with PaperPrincess that Misty Fuse is the way to go.

I use Aleene's Flexible, Stretchable. See back of bottle for instructions on washing, etc.
