Does anyone have a trick on how to change the light bulb in this machine. The instruction books says there is a special tool, it didn't come with my machine. So is there a way to do it ? My fingers just too big .....help

I have a 7570 too but have never had to change the bulb. If you can't do it yourself, I'd take in to the dealer and have him do it for you. Shouldn't cost much.

You would think if it needed a special tool they would have included it with the machine. Guess it will be a visit to the dealer. sigh

I have one of those tools with my machine. I do't think the light skrews in like a standard lightbulb. I think it needs to be just pushed in and twisted so tha the 2 little bumps on the side of the socket can fit in. The tool cups the light bulb so you have a grip. That end is about 1 inch long. The other end is a tool to pry/lift up the throat plate. I use it all the time to change to a straight stitch (single hole) plate.

Here's a link to some suggested ways to change the bulb without the tool.

Karen, Call your dealer locally and ask if they can work on your Pfaff. My local dealer is Babylock but he is the only one I trust to work on any of my machines.

I'd like to know what it looks like. If it came with the machine, I should have one too, but have no idea what to look for!
