My hubby is wanting to purchase an embroidery machine for me. I was wondering if any one has any feed back on this particular machine. It is a step up from the one my mom has. I like the Pfaff but have never used an embroidery machine.

You should check with leaha. I think she now has three of them and loves every one! Also do a search and you will probably come up with some more info.

Check out www.sewingpatternreview.com where there are lots of reviews about different machines.

I love my Pfaff 7570. Would not trade it for any other machine. I also have Pfaff 2140, love it. Three of my sewing friends also have 7570's. We would all take another one if given a chance. We all use for regular sewing and embroidery.

I have this machine. Love it. I have only used the embroidery unit a few times. Just recently learned how to download designs to the cards using the amazing box. Somewhat computer challenged.

I had this machine and traded it in for a Janome 11000. I think the Janome is much easier to use especially the embroidery part.

I started with a Pfaff 7570 and really enjoyed it. I did upgrade to the 2144 so I could do more complex embrodiery and have kicked myself many times over for not keeping the 7570 too.
I don't think you can go wrong with a 7570.

Good luck,
Sherryl

This machine is a work horse! I have had mine for over 15 years...and while I out grew the hoop size and went up in machines I still use it . Especially when I'm doing alot. It was one of the best sewing purchases I ever made.

LOVE my 7570 for sewing, but I don't use it for embroidery. You should research the hoop sizes and technology has passed the seriel port links from computer to the 7570. Unless you have an old computer or laptop that will support these. Also think windows XP/Vista will not take the software. If so you'll be limited to using the cards.

I have had my 7570 machine for over 20 years and will NOT part with it. I now have a CV which I also love. You cannot go wrong with Pfaff.
