    Default Arkansas crossing ?

I have scraps I have been working into 16 square blocks. I used 2.5" squares and the total block measures 8.5 unfinished. What are the measures of the second block? Quilters Cache shows 6.5"block and at the moment I am braided? Can someone help?

You could make the quilt with different size blocks, but in any case both blocks should be the same size.

To clarify - you could use all 6" blocks, or all 8" blocks, or all 12" blocks. In you case you want both blocks to be 8" finished.

The second block also needs to be 8.5" unfinished.

Is this the quilt that you are trying to make? If so, you need 4 1/2" squares.

I have seen many MSQC tutorials but not this one. Thank you for sharing. I really like controlled scrappy quilts.
