I need some advise on how I would go about making a picture quilt. Is there any certain type of material I need to use for pictures and how do I arrange the pictures to look neat. Is there a place I can go to to see some done or has anyone done some and want to post them for ideas. Thanks.

Try using the search button up towards the top of the page. Type in Memory quilts and photo quilts, you should see a LOT of topics on tips to do this, and pictures of them too :D:D:D

are you talking about a memory quilt type quilt or a landscape type quilt? one (memory quilt) you print your pictures on prepared fabric and use them as blocks in a quilt...landscape quilts sometimes start with a picture and build (applique) the scene.
\if the memory type is the type you want to make start with either purchasing fabric printer sheets (there are a number of different ones on the market) or you can purchase pfd fabric (prepared for dyeing) or you can prepare your own fabric. iron it to freezer paper cut to printer paper size, run it through the printer and follow setting instructions to heat set the pictures. do a search you will find lots of information.
