I just follow the instructions on the package of fabric sheets that I buy. I send them through the printer. Let them set a while, and then wet them and iron them dry. It works for me.

You have to have special fabric or treat the fabric to make them stay. I got mine at Hancock fabrics and it holds just fine.

I have used EQ fabric, and the one thing I have done is letting them dry completely like 10 minutes.
then I would put them in water with a spoonful of Downy,
swish it around, and then rinse in cool water until it comes out clear.
Lay flat to dry and press...
Always works for me, but I have only used this process.
Have fun..

Use the specially treated fabric, follow the directions, when it gets to the rinsing stage use some Retayne (according to the bottles label) to help set the ink :D:D:D

If you want it to be permanent I would suggest going to a print shop and have them do it on their laser printer. I have used every brand and even made my own and used the setting solution and still get fading. Laser printers use dye instead of ink and they are more permanent.
